About PHOTO ALLIANCE

PHOTO ALLIANCE (PhotoAlliance) is a San Francisco–based 501(c)(3) arts organization founded in 2002 that presents exhibitions, lectures, portfolio reviews, workshops, and community events to support contemporary photographers and visual storytellers. The organization operates signature programs including an annual portfolio review, juried Bay Area exhibition programs, public lecture series, and rotating exhibitions in partnership with local venues (recent exhibitions and programs include shows at Bolinas Museum, San Francisco City Hall, and a January 16, 2025 opening reception). PhotoAlliance maintains an active public program calendar (lecture series and Slide Slam / live slideshow events ran in 2023–2026) and solicits community participation through calls for entry, juried shows, and slide-slam performance events.
