About Colorado Agricultural Leadership Foundation
Verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 02-0657688) founded in 2002 to preserve the Lowell Ranch and to promote agricultural education and stewardship in Colorado. CALF operates the Lowell Ranch near Castle Rock as a working educational ranch and community agriculture site.
CALF delivers school field trips, Camp CALF and CALF Kids programs, supports 4-H/FFA supervised agricultural experience projects and internships, and runs community projects such as community garden plots and seasonal public events that connect urban/suburban audiences to food and farming.
In the last 2–3 years CALF has continued its core program delivery and fundraising activity (including its 'Cultivate the Future' campaign), maintained infrastructure at the Lowell Ranch, and hosted annual seasonal events and tours that engage local families, students, volunteers and agricultural youth.
