The Parent Teacher and Community Council (PTCC) is the nonprofit parent-teacher organization that supports the Japanese Bilingual Bicultural Program (JBBP) at Rosa Parks Elementary School in San Francisco Unified School District. The PTCC raises funds, organizes cultural events, coordinates volunteers and outreach, and provides financial support for classroom needs and the Sensei fund that enables native Japanese instruction. The PTCC has been tax-exempt since 2003 and operates as the primary donor-facing support organization for the Rosa Parks JBBP, running committees (fundraising, recruitment, cultural events, communications) and an annual gala auction as its main fundraiser to sustain program operations and enrichment activities.
