About NATIVE AMERICAN COMMUNITY CLINIC
Native American Community Clinic (NACC) is a nonprofit, community-based health center founded in 2003 to address persistent health disparities in the urban Native American community of the Twin Cities. NACC operates a Federally Qualified Health Center offering integrated primary medical, behavioral health, dental, substance-use treatment, maternal health, and social services with a culturally grounded model of care. The clinic emphasizes whole-person care—mind, body, spirit—through traditional healing supports (including Elders in Residence and a Traditional Healing Director), community outreach, peer recovery coaches, and care navigation that addresses social drivers of health such as housing, food access, and insurance. NACC serves Native families while welcoming patients of all backgrounds and provides services regardless of ability to pay. In recent years NACC has moved from a small neighborhood clinic toward a larger, integrated campus model: it has mounted a capital campaign to build a combined clinic and affordable-housing campus, expanded behavioral health and medication-assisted treatment programs, and secured public and philanthropic support to scale services and capacity.
