About MONTESSORI ACADEMY OF COLORADO

The Montessori Academy of Colorado (MAC) is an independent, donor-facing Montessori school in Denver serving children from eight weeks through 8th grade. MAC pairs authentic Montessori classrooms (Nido through Upper Elementary) with a purpose-based Middle School that emphasizes real-world learning, self-discovery, and leadership. In recent years MAC has remained operationally active and financially transparent: it reports annual program revenues in the $7–8 million range and holds total assets around $15 million according to its most recent public filings. The school enrolls a small, multi-age community (approximately 250 students), maintains tuition-assistance programs to broaden access, and holds dual accreditation to support program quality and continuous improvement. MAC positions itself as a metropolitan school rooted in Montessori pedagogy and community partnerships, preparing students to develop independence, critical thinking, collaboration, and civic purpose as they transition to high school and beyond.
