About AMERICA NEPAL MEDICAL FOUNDATION

America Nepal Medical Foundation (ANMF) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) organization that supports health-care capacity building, clinical training, and medical infrastructure projects in Nepal. The organization partners with Nepali hospitals, medical schools, and local implementers to deliver equipment, training, and system-strengthening initiatives. In recent years ANMF has focused on urgent clinical infrastructure (oxygen systems, ICU equipment), clinical specialty support (bronchoscopy, pediatric critical care training), and digital/telehealth initiatives (electronic health records and telemedicine support), while maintaining regular grantmaking and project implementation with Nepali partners.

Notable achievements

Oxygen infrastructure support

Provided capital and project support for oxygen delivery infrastructure in Nepalese hospitals, including assistance for an oxygen generation plant and high-flow oxygen systems to strengthen critical care capacity during recent clinical surges.

ICU and clinical equipment deployments

Supplied intensive-care and procedure-specific equipment (ICU devices, bronchoscope and related tools) to partner hospitals to expand critical care and pulmonary services.

Training and capacity building

Developed and supported medical training programs and fellowships (including pediatric critical care training), workshops for clinicians, and initiatives to improve clinical skills, mental health literacy, and telemedicine capacity among Nepali healthcare teams.
