EAST SIDE LEARNING CENTER

East Side Learning Center (ESLC) is a St. Paul, Minnesota–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides one-on-one, evidence-based literacy tutoring and mentoring for K–3 students who face barriers to reading. The organization operates school-based, virtual after-school, and summer programs rooted in the Science of Reading and integrates social-emotional learning into tutoring sessions. ESLC is a long-standing community partner (founded in 2001, IRS tax-exempt since 2002) that focuses on measurable student outcomes and volunteer-driven tutoring; its site reports rapid program growth in the most recent program year.
