Sand Creek Instrumental Music Boosters

Sand Creek Instrumental Music Boosters (also referenced as Sand Creek Band Boosters or SCIM Boosters) is a parent- and community-led nonprofit organization that supports the Sand Creek High School instrumental music programs in Colorado Springs through fundraising, volunteer coordination, and program logistics.

The boosters raise a substantial portion of the program budget (the boosters’ site notes fundraising covers roughly 70% of annual needs, approximately $40,000) to pay for instrument repairs, equipment, competition and travel fees, staff support, scholarships, and enrichment activities.

Booster activities are organized around the school-year calendar (marching band in fall, concerts and winter/winter-guard events through the year) and include regular booster meetings, committee work, sales/fundraisers, and seasonal events such as summer camps and holiday markets.
