About SHALOM TASK FORCE INC

Shalom Task Force is a New York–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides culturally responsive domestic-violence services, legal representation, crisis hotline and chatline support, prevention education, and community technical assistance primarily for Jewish survivors and communities. The organization combines a legal department, a confidential hotline and chatline, and education programs aimed at prevention and community capacity-building. In recent years STF has expanded its geographic reach and programming: it operates statewide and national initiatives (including Project Kehilah, a network of partner legal providers), provides technical assistance to other agencies, and partners with funders and municipal agencies to sustain direct services and education efforts. The organization underwent a leadership transition in 2025 and continues to publish annual impact reporting documenting service volumes and program outcomes.
