About Volunteer Corps of the Vail Valley Medical Center
The Volunteer Corps of the Vail Valley Medical Center (commonly known as the Vail Health Volunteer Corps) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that partners with Vail Health to provide volunteer support and fundraising for hospital programs across the Vail Valley.
Founded in 1979, the Corps combines direct patient- and guest-facing volunteer services (greeting, companionship, gift shop and operational support) with fundraising activities; in recent years the group has increased its service impact and continued to underwrite equipment and program needs across Vail Health.
