About UNITED STATES FENCING ASSOCIATION (dba USA FENCING)
USA Fencing is the national governing body for Olympic-style fencing in the United States and is organized as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It oversees athlete development, national teams, domestic competition structure, coach and official education, and membership services for clubs and fencers across the country.
In the last 2–3 years USA Fencing has led high‑performance initiatives (including the Paris 2024 Olympic cycle), expanded parafencing programs and pathways, launched new member-facing digital platforms, and continued to operate the national tournament calendar (North American Cups, Junior Olympics, Summer Nationals) that serves thousands of athletes annually.

Paris 2024 Olympic success
Team USA delivered historic results at Paris 2024 including the women’s team foil gold and multiple individual medals, marking a high-water point for U.S. competitive fencing on the Olympic stage.
Expansion of parafencing leadership and pathways
Substantial growth of USA Parafencing through a domestic classification process, the establishment and financial support of a Parafencing National Team, and increased U.S. representation on World Para Fencing governing bodies.
Modernized member platform
Launched a redesigned, mobile-optimized official website and member platform in 2024 to improve access to athlete profiles, event registration, resources and communications.
