AMERICAN CRAFT COUNCIL

The American Craft Council (ACC) is a national, membership-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Minneapolis that champions contemporary American craft and supports the livelihoods of makers. ACC advances craft through storytelling, education, marketplaces, large-scale fairs and conferences, and programs designed to help makers at multiple career stages. ACC operates a portfolio of programs—including artist development initiatives, School-to-Market and Early Career Artist programs, an active events calendar, and the long-running American Craft magazine—to connect makers and appreciators and strengthen the craft ecosystem. In recent years ACC has reported measurable impact from its marketplaces and programming, reaching hundreds of thousands of readers and participants and generating multi‑million dollars in estimated artist sales.
