About UKRAINIAN CHORUS DUMKA OF AMERICA INC

The Ukrainian Chorus “Dumka” is a New York–based nonprofit chorus (approximately 50–60 members) that educates audiences and preserves Ukrainian choral traditions through performance, community concerts, and cultural programming. Under the long‑time musical direction of conductor Vasyl Hrechynsky, the chorus performs at major venues and events nationally and internationally and has remained active in recent years with high‑profile performances and festival appearances.

Performed the spiritual “Prayer for Ukraine” on Saturday Night Live (broadcast February 27, 2022), bringing Ukrainian choral music to a national television audience during a moment of international attention.
