SEBCO DEVELOPMENT INC

SEBCO Development, Inc. is a Bronx-based 501(c)(3) community development corporation focused on affordable housing creation, rehabilitation, property management and resident supportive services. Founded and incorporated as a not-for-profit in the late 1970s, SEBCO grew from neighborhood activists into a major developer active throughout the Southeast Bronx. The organization develops and manages housing, operates homeless shelters and senior programs under municipal contracts, and provides services designed to stabilize low- and moderate-income families. Recent activity includes multiple development projects and ongoing construction to expand affordable housing in the Crotona/Crotona Park East area and other Bronx neighborhoods. Over its multi-decade history SEBCO reports the development or rehabilitation of more than 6,000 housing units across roughly 450 buildings, continued partnerships with city and federal housing agencies, and an operational presence that includes property management and resident support programs.
