RAOUL WALLENBERG COMMITTEE OF THE UNITED STATES LTD

The Raoul Wallenberg Committee of the United States is a New York–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1981 to preserve and promote the humanitarian legacy of Raoul Wallenberg. The organization operates an education program (A Study of Heroes), a research/archive center (including the STONES program), and an awards program that recognizes individuals, organizations, and communities that model Wallenberg’s courage and nonviolent action. The Committee maintains active archival and research services and works to support inquiries into Wallenberg’s fate while distributing curricular materials and educator resources nationally. Leadership historically includes long-serving chair Rachel Oestreicher Bernheim and Diane Blake in senior operational/archival roles; the organization continues to file IRS Form 990s and operate as a donor-facing charity.
