About LEHMAN COLLEGE ART GALLERY INC

Lehman College Art Gallery (LCAG), established in 1984 and operating as a 501(c)(3), presents thematic group exhibitions that bring together established and emerging artists and prioritizes education and community engagement. The Gallery operates within Lehman College’s Fine Arts Building and offers free admission, regular public programming (lectures, concerts, curator tours), and school- and family-focused events. In the last three years LCAG has remained active with collaborative exhibitions (including CUNY-gallery partnerships), grant‑funded arts-education residencies and inclusive family programs, and ongoing outreach to NYC DOE school groups and community audiences. The Gallery also maintains institutional fiscal reporting and files annual Form 990s; recent filings show multi-hundred-thousand-dollar annual revenues and net assets in the low‑millions, reflecting sustained donor and public support.
