About CHILDRENS BRAIN TUMOR FOUNDATION INC

Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation (CBTF) is a New York–based national nonprofit founded in 1988 that provides research funding, family support, education, and advocacy for children with brain and spinal cord tumors and their families. CBTF is a funder and convener in pediatric neuro‑oncology: it has directly supported clinical and laboratory research grants and played a leading role in creating and sustaining a multi‑institutional tissue consortium to accelerate collaborative research. Alongside research, CBTF operates a broad set of family-facing programs — scholarships, quality-of-life grants, peer support, events (family walks, gala, endurance fundraising teams) — and has maintained active fundraising and program activity across 2023–2025, including large community events and targeted grant programs.
