Mission

The Long Term Care Community Coalition (LTCCC) is a national nonprofit that works to improve the quality of care, quality of life, and dignity of older adults and people with disabilities in nursing homes, assisted living, and other settings. LTCCC combines independent policy analysis with systems advocacy, data transparency, and education to promote stronger standards and enforcement for long-term care.

Notable achievements

Nursing Home Staffing Resource Center

Maintains a publicly accessible Nursing Home Staffing Resource Center with quarterly staffing data (including Q1–Q3 2025) and tools designed to help advocates, families, and policymakers evaluate staffing levels and trends.

Antipsychotic Drugging Data Release (2026)

Released updated nursing home antipsychotic drugging data and issued an alert highlighting gaps in federal reporting, helping to drive transparency and inform advocacy and policy discussions in 2026.

Local Ombudsman Programs

Operates two local Long Term Care Ombudsman Programs (Hudson Valley and Tri-County) that provide constituent services, advocacy, and education to residents, families, and volunteer ombudsmen.
