OPERATION EXODUS-INNER CITY INC

Operation Exodus–Inner City (commonly Operation Exodus) is a New York City 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves primarily Latino/Hispanic students and families in Washington Heights and surrounding neighborhoods. The organization provides year-round out-of-school-time programming including afterschool enrichment, summer learning, mentoring, middle/high-school college-prep supports, and a Family Empowerment program that grew out of pandemic-era needs. Founded in 1988 and operating with a volunteer board and a small professional staff, Operation Exodus combines culturally responsive academics, social-emotional supports, and long-term mentoring relationships to help students graduate high school and access college pathways. In recent years the organization has sustained active programming, secured multi-year philanthropic support, and reported growing assets and revenues on its publicly available Form 990 filings.
