About CHILDRENS THEATRE COMPANY

The Children’s Theatre Company is a New York–based nonprofit theatre organization founded in the early 2000s that produces musical theatre and arts-education programs for children and schools. The organization operates a compact performance space in Manhattan while also offering off-site school performances, workshops, teacher resources and touring productions designed to reach low-income and underserved audiences. Under founder and Artistic Director Mehr Mansuri, CTC runs weekly multi-disciplinary programs (drama, dance, music and choral singing) and produces full-scale children’s musicals, study guides and educational materials used in classrooms. Recent public filings and program materials report the company routinely serving several hundred young people annually through performances, workshops and residencies. CTC also functions as a publisher and producer of original children’s musicals and related educational resources, and it sustains operations through a mix of program revenue, foundation grants and municipal arts support.
