ASSOCIATION OF VOLUNTEERS IN INTERNATIONAL SERVICE USA INC

Association of Volunteers in International Service, USA Inc. (AVSI‑USA) is the U.S. member of the AVSI Foundation network, founded to connect U.S. donors and partners with long‑term, locally‑led development and emergency response programs around the world. AVSI‑USA focuses on education and family services, dignified work and livelihoods, restorative justice, and solidarity in emergencies, working through partnered local organizations to design and implement programs. The organization maintains audited financial statements and publicly available IRS Form 990 filings and acts as a donor‑facing office that channels U.S. funding and partnerships to AVSI programs in multiple regions. In recent years AVSI‑USA has been active in emergency relief (notably Lebanon), refugee and displacement responses, and programmatic work in education, youth employment, and nutrition across AVSI’s global footprint. AVSI‑USA leverages the AVSI Foundation’s global presence (programs in dozens of countries) to scale locally appropriate interventions while emphasizing partnership, transparency, and measured impact for donors and communities alike.
