About National Multiple Sclerosis Society
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 13-5661935) dedicated to accelerating research toward cures, providing programs and services to people living with MS, and driving change through advocacy and community engagement.
The Society funds and coordinates large-scale research efforts (including the Pathways to Cures research roadmap), operates direct-support programs such as MS Navigator®, and runs national peer-to-peer fundraising and awareness events to connect and resource people affected by MS.
In the last 2–3 years the organization has led global research alignment efforts, continued major investments in MS research, and sustained high levels of community connection and peer-support through events and programs.
