Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc. is a community-based 501(c)(3) ambulance service founded in the early 1960s that provides primary Basic Life Support (BLS) 911 ambulance coverage for the Village of Dobbs Ferry, New York. The Corps staffs ambulances with New York State certified EMT-Basic personnel, supplements its volunteer corps with paid staffing to maintain continuous coverage, and participates in the Westchester County EMS Mutual Aid Plan.
DFVAC operates an active community-training program offering CPR and basic first-aid classes, a Junior Corps to develop new volunteers, and continuing education for EMTs.
