About Wylie ISD Education Foundation, Inc.

Wylie ISD Education Foundation is the district-linked 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises and invests funds to support Wylie Independent School District through teacher grants, student scholarships, supply programs and endowed funds. The Foundation’s Boots ’N Barbecue gala (2023) was its highest-grossing event to date, raising over $341,000 (≈750 attendees), a major funding source for scholarships, grants, backpacks and the teacher supply closet.

Grants for Teachers (2023)

In November 2023 the Foundation awarded 63 classroom and school grants totaling approximately $135,862 across 19 campuses, representing a substantial year-over-year increase in grant funding and directly supporting tens of thousands of students.

Scholarships for Seniors (2023)

In May 2023 the Foundation awarded 76 college or career scholarships totaling about $70,600; the Foundation also reports multi-year giving and endowment growth that sustain ongoing scholarship support.
