Construction Careers Foundation
The mission of Construction Careers Foundation is to increase the diversity of entrants to the construction trades and foster long-term construction careers by promoting career opportunities and encouraging young people to apply for registered apprenticeships in the construction trades.
About Construction Careers Foundation
Construction Careers Foundation (CCF) is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that develops construction career pathways for middle- and high-school students, young adults, veterans, and educators across the state. CCF runs year-round programs including the MN Trades Academy (paid summer internships), Learn2Build (middle-school exploration), Trades Navigator services, and a Minnesota Helmets to Hardhats effort to connect veterans to construction apprenticeships. In the last 2–3 years CCF has expanded program delivery and partnerships across Minnesota, secured multi-source funding (state grants and private foundation support), and continued to place participants into registered apprenticeship and postsecondary pathways. The organization operates with a small core staff and a board drawn from Minnesota building trades and contractor associations, and works closely with industry partners, unions, K–12 educators, and state workforce agencies to deliver hands-on training and paid internship opportunities.
