About WESTLAKE ACADEMY FOUNDATION

The Westlake Academy Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) established to raise and steward private philanthropic support for Westlake Academy, a municipally chartered International Baccalaureate (IB) K–12 school in Westlake, Texas. The Foundation directs the Blacksmith Annual Fund and other giving vehicles to provide operating support that complements public funding and sustains the school’s IB programming. The Foundation transfers 100% of Blacksmith Annual Fund donations to the Academy to support daily operations — including faculty compensation, classroom resources, technology, and IB fees — and publishes audited financial reports and IRS Form 990 filings. In recent years the Foundation has sustained seven-figure annual fundraising and maintains multi-million-dollar assets to support the school’s mission and ongoing program needs.
