About REDISCOVER CENTER INC

Rediscover Center Inc is a Los Angeles–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 20-0192617) that has delivered hands-on, sustainability‑focused maker education since 2004. The organization operates public youth makerspaces and delivers camps, weekend workshops, field trips, in-school programs, and professional development that use upcycled and repurposed materials to teach STEAM, design thinking, and tool safety.

In recent years Rediscover has expanded from its original Venice makerspace into a multi-location model serving schools and communities across Los Angeles County, partnering with Title I schools, local youth organizations, and cultural funders. Programming highlights in the last 2–3 years include school makerspace buildouts, a documented Kentwood Elementary partnership (an Innovation Lab serving nearly 300 students in 2024), and growth of classroom, field-trip, and community workshop offerings.
