About Outdoor Lab Foundation
Founded in 2003 to support a mountain-based Outdoor Lab program that has served Jefferson County students since 1957, the Foundation raises funds, provides tuition assistance, and supports staffing and site improvements so roughly 5,000 sixth-graders each year can attend week-long residential camps.
The Foundation’s recent strategic priorities include tuition assistance, a High School Leader program, an Intern Stipend/Career Pathways program, and site support (including gear/outerwear and campus improvements); in the last several years it has expanded fundraising and partnerships to increase access for under-resourced students.
