SCI-TECH DISCOVERY CENTER INC

Sci-Tech Discovery Center is a nonprofit, donor-facing children's science museum based in Frisco, Texas, housed at the Frisco Discovery Center. It operates hands-on exhibit galleries, classrooms and a makerspace and delivers on-site and off-site STEAM programs designed for families, schools and community groups. The organization runs field trips, outreach (including reduced-cost and scholarship programs for Title I and underserved schools), teacher professional development, summer camps, homeschool programs and public monthly events; it reports serving approximately 65,000 visitors annually and has served hundreds of thousands of visitors since founding. Sci-Tech partners with local school districts, corporate sponsors and community organizations to keep fees low, expand outreach across North Texas, and provide programs aligned with Texas learning standards (TEKS).
