About JACKSONVILLE ARBORETUM & GARDENS INC

Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens, Inc. (JABG) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that manages a large urban woodland and public garden on city‑owned land in Jacksonville, Florida. The organization preserves and interprets more than 120 acres of native habitats, maintains miles of trails, and operates year‑round visitor, education, and volunteer programs. In recent years JABG has moved from site stewardship toward a more curated botanical garden model: it completed major infrastructure and accessibility improvements, advanced a multi‑phase master plan (including design work for a new Children’s Garden), expanded events and membership offerings, and increased earned and grant revenue to support ongoing development and education programs.
