Friends of the Highlands Ranch Senior Center, Inc. is a volunteer-led nonprofit comprised of members of the Highlands Ranch Senior Center that raises funds to support scholarships, programs and facility needs for adults 55 and older.
In recent years the organization has expanded fundraising and member-driven activities to increase program access for low-income older adults, support the Senior Center’s programs and host community events and volunteer initiatives.
Notable achievements
Established ongoing scholarship program
Maintains a formal scholarship fund to help qualifying older adults afford membership and program fees, with confidential application and income-based eligibility.
Supported Senior Center reopening and membership growth
Played an active supporting role as the Highlands Ranch Senior Center reopened in 2025 and helped grow membership to well over a thousand older adults.
Expanded fundraising portfolio
Launched and sustained major fundraisers and community events (seasonal auctions, luncheons and a craft fair) to increase program support and community engagement.
