Foundation of the National Lipid Association, Inc.

The Foundation of the National Lipid Association (Foundation of the NLA) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Jacksonville, Florida, that focuses on patient and clinician education, research support, and outreach in clinical lipidology. The Foundation traces its roots to the Florida Lipid Foundation and was reorganized to serve as the national Foundation for the National Lipid Association, translating scientific progress into evidence-based guidance for patient care.

In the last few years the Foundation has emphasized public-facing education and partnerships: it has launched collaborative campaigns and webinars (including the "Take Health to Heart" series), developed expanded pediatric lipid resources, distributed patient education materials for children, and continued to offer honors and research awards that support lipidology research and early-career investigators.
