About NORTH FLORIDA CARDIOVASCULAR EDUCATION FOUNDATION INC

North Florida Cardiovascular Education Foundation Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that organizes an annual, accredited cardiovascular education symposium for clinicians. The foundation’s principal activity is the North Florida Cardiovascular Symposium, a CME/CEU program that convenes cardiologists, interventionalists, electrophysiologists and other healthcare professionals to present evidence-based advances in cardiovascular care.

The foundation has run its symposium series for more than two decades (the symposium program lists its 22nd and 23rd annual meetings in 2025 and 2026) and reports regular program-service revenue and filings consistent with an active operating nonprofit. Recent conferences have been run as accredited continuing medical education activities and attracted several hundred attendees (approximately 350 attendees reported for the 2024 symposium).

In addition to the symposium, the foundation receives industry educational grants and corporate sponsorships to underwrite its CME programming and maintains annual Form 990 filings showing modest revenues, positive net assets, and continued program activity in the last 2–3 years.
