About American Military Family (AMF)
American Military Family (AMF) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2005 that operates the AMFGY6 (“Got Your Six”) program focused on suicide prevention, crisis intervention, reintegration support, and direct emergency assistance for veterans, first responders, and their families.
In recent years AMF has continued in-person and virtual crisis support activities (war-room calls and 'intrusive interventions') and direct financial assistance; filings and organizational reports for 2024 show the organization operating with mid-six-figure annual revenues and continued program delivery. Program-level activity in the last 2–3 years has included multi-case interventions and expanded virtual sessions to increase access.

AMF reports that since the AMFGY6 program launch it has directly intervened to save and support over 100 highly suicidal or at-risk veterans, guiding many into treatment and stabilization.

Home and housing support for wounded warriors
