About HAWAII EDUCATION OF THE ARTS INC

Hawai'i Education of the Arts (HEARTS) is a Kailua-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts-education organization founded in 2002 that delivers year‑round choir, musical theatre, hula, and related performing-arts programs for K–12 students across Oʻahu. HEARTS emphasizes cultural identity, character development, and community service; its programming intentionally combines rigorous artistic training with stewardship activities (beach cleanups, loʻi work) and public performances that serve kupuna and other local audiences. In the past 2–3 years HEARTS has continued regular seasonal concerts and full musical productions, sustained outreach projects (including choral work with vulnerable youth), and maintained annual IRS filings and donor-facing fundraising activities to support programming.
