KOREA TOWN SENIOR AND COMMUNITY CENTER INC

Korea Town Senior and Community Center (KSCCLA) is a Los Angeles–based 501(c)(3) community organization that operates a multi-program senior center serving Koreatown and surrounding neighborhoods. The organization offers in-language and culturally relevant classes and services designed to promote social connection, health, creativity, and independence among older adults. KSCCLA runs a broad schedule of classes and social programs — including music, arts, dance, and exercise — and returned to in-person operations after reopening its center on November 1, 2022. The center’s programming reached substantial participation in recent years, with dozens of weekly classes and an estimated weekly attendance measured in the low thousands. The organization has also become a visible community ambassador through collaborations and public performances: a harmonica ensemble drawn from KSCCLA’s classes gained wide media recognition in 2025 after performing the U.S. national anthem at public events and Los Angeles Kings games, raising the center’s profile and highlighting its role connecting seniors to civic and cultural life.
