About FOR THE CITY NETWORK NORTHERN COLORADO
For the City Network Northern Colorado is a regional nonprofit network that began as the Faith Community Service Fund in 2005, evolved to RISE in 2012, and adopted its current name in 2017 to broaden its mission and priorities.
Rooted in the Christian faith, the organization convenes local churches, nonprofits and businesses around seven strategic priorities (including Healthy & Whole Families, International Neighbor Connections, Work/Business & Mission, Pathways for Broken Lives, Deeper Exploration, Catalyst for Change and Poverty Reduction) and operates as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
The Network’s work focuses on convening partners, raising and distributing local funds to frontline organizations, coordinating volunteer opportunities, and organizing community resource events to connect residents with services and supports.

2024 Happy Hour fundraising impact
The Network’s 2024 Happy Hour distributed $51,000 to local nonprofits (notably supporting Life Stories Child & Family Advocacy, Jobs of Hope, The Resource Center and Immigrant Hope Greeley), demonstrating its role as a local funder and connector.
Regular neighborhood resource events
Held pop-up resource events in late 2024 and early 2025 that brought health, employment, clothing and social-service partners together to serve residents in neighborhood settings.
