MINNESOTA VOTERS ALLIANCE
Minnesota Voters Alliance (MVA) is a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization focused on election integrity, research, voter education, and advocacy. MVA seeks to increase voter participation, raise public awareness about election procedures, and pursue legal and policy efforts to ensure elections are conducted in accordance with state law.
About MINNESOTA VOTERS ALLIANCE
Minnesota Voters Alliance is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity that combines legal advocacy, public education, and research to promote what it describes as election transparency and compliance with Minnesota election law. The organization is led by Executive Director Andy Cilek and a volunteer board and advisory team and publishes research, press releases, and legal filings on its website.
In the last 2–3 years MVA has been active in high-profile litigation and public-policy advocacy, most notably filing suit in 2023 to challenge Minnesota legislation restoring voting rights to certain people with felony convictions and obtaining accelerated review by the Minnesota Supreme Court in 2024. MVA has also pursued other administrative and court challenges and runs outreach aimed at encouraging citizen participation as election judges, poll watchers and ballot-board members.
MVA has a documented history of bringing test cases that have reached state and federal appellate courts; earlier litigation involving MVA reached the U.S. Supreme Court (see achievements). The organization maintains an active web presence and solicits tax-deductible donations to support its work.
