NATIONAL CHARITY LEAGUE RICHARDSON AREA CHAPTER

National Charity League (NCL) Richardson Area Chapter is a local chapter of National Charity League, Inc. serving the Richardson/Plano/Garland/North Dallas area. The chapter operates as a mother–daughter membership organization that combines community service, leadership development, and cultural experiences over a six-year participation program for grades 7–12 and their mothers. The chapter maintains a roster of chapters traditions and events (for example: annual kidnap breakfast, Junior–Senior Style Show, Chapter Tea, Senior Presentation) and partners with a broad set of local philanthropies including North Texas Food Bank, Meals on Wheels (Dallas), Ronald McDonald House, The Warren Center, Feed My Starving Children and others. The chapter reports a long-standing presence in the community (20+ years) and membership on the order of two hundred-plus participants. The Richardson Area Chapter is an active, donor-facing 501(c)(3) chapter that files public Form 990 returns. In recent fiscal years the chapter has operated on a modest budget (annual revenues in the low-to-mid five-figure range) with program services representing a significant portion of its receipts, and continues to carry out regular volunteer events and philanthropy support in the local community.
