WORKING PARTNERSHIPS INCORPORATED

Working Partnerships Incorporated is a Minneapolis-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded out of a collaboration between the Minneapolis Regional Labor Federation (AFL-CIO) and community partners to serve union households and working families in the West Metro region. The organization combines direct services—such as emergency financial and food assistance for eligible union members—with workforce supports including a union jobs board, apprenticeship and training program information, and civic-engagement outreach. Working Partnerships operates as a labor-supported community resource focused on both immediate needs and longer-term economic justice: it coordinates referrals to county and community resources, facilitates volunteerism among union members, and partners with local institutions (including United Way and regional labor federations) to advance worker-focused initiatives. The organization maintains an active web presence, public filings, and ongoing program activity covering Hennepin, Anoka, Scott, Carver, Wright, Meeker and McLeod counties.
