INSTRUMENTS OF HOPE

Instruments of Hope is a Grand Rapids, Michigan 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 20-3489605) that develops and maintains the Saint Francis of Assisi Sculpture Garden, an 11-acre prayer and meditation landscape sited on land associated with the Dominican Sisters at Marywood. The organization installs and preserves bronze sculptures and related contemplative features that interpret the life and teachings of St. Francis and foster peace, reflection, and community engagement. Over the last several years Instruments of Hope has focused on site improvements and public access—including completion of a new bridge connecting parts of the garden—and on community fundraising events that support garden installation, maintenance, and interpretive programming.
