About American Society for Preventive Cardiology

The American Society for Preventive Cardiology (ASPC) is a multidisciplinary, membership-based 501(c)(3) professional society focused on the prevention of cardiovascular disease through clinician education, clinical practice guidance, research dissemination, and public advocacy. ASPC publishes the American Journal of Preventive Cardiology, organizes annual scientific meetings and educational programs for clinicians, and develops practice statements and resources to advance primary and secondary prevention of heart disease. The organization maintains an active program of collaborations and clinical statements with peer societies and continues to expand its clinician-facing education and publication activities in recent years (including sustained journal publication and annual congresses).
