About PTSD FOUNDATION OF AMERICA

The PTSD Foundation of America is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that delivers residential, outpatient, peer-mentoring, and community outreach services for combat veterans and their families affected by PTSD. Its signature Camp Hope residential program combines interim housing, clinical services, peer mentoring, and family support designed to stabilize veterans and transition them toward permanent care and community reintegration. In addition to Camp Hope, the organization operates a 24/7 Combat Trauma Help Line and national outreach chapters, runs pilot initiatives to expand services (including programs labeled Operation Lagertha, Operation Lift, and Operation Outpost), and pursues replication and infrastructure upgrades to scale its model. Over the past 2–3 years the Foundation has pursued Camp Hope expansion and public partnerships to raise awareness and broaden access to counseling and peer-support services for veterans and their families.
