About HMONG EDUCATION REFORM COMPANY

Hmong Education Reform Company (HERC) is a Minnesota 501(c)(3) nonprofit established to support Hmong College Prep Academy (HCPA). HERC’s primary purpose is to acquire, hold and develop real estate and school facilities to be leased to and used by HCPA, enabling the charter school’s K–12 operations and campus development.

HERC is an active, donor-facing nonprofit subsidiary/affiliate listed on HCPA’s official website and files annual IRS Form 990 returns. In recent years HERC has continued to post board materials (bylaws, agendas/minutes) on HCPA’s site and has filed Form 990s showing ongoing program-service revenue supporting HCPA and large property asset holdings used to support school facilities and expansion.
