Chinese Community Health Resource Center

The Chinese Community Health Resource Center (CCHRC) is a San Francisco–based nonprofit community education center serving the Chinese-American population of the Bay Area. CCHRC provides culturally and linguistically tailored preventive health education, patient navigation, support groups, bilingual materials, media outreach, and community-based research. CCHRC operates programs and outreach from Chinatown in partnership with local institutional sponsors and health partners, and reports providing roughly 15,000 client services annually, with most recipients monolingual in Chinese and many uninsured or covered by Medi‑Cal. In the last several years CCHRC has continued to update and distribute bilingual health education booklets and to run community health fairs, patient navigation for cancer and chronic disease management, and Chinese-language public education campaigns.
