Southwest Organizations Unifying Resources for Our Community and Employees (commonly known as The SOURCE) is a Michigan 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2006 by a consortium of southwest Grand Rapids employers to provide coordinated employee supports that reduce turnover and improve family stability.

The organization operates an employer/employee network that connects workers to services (housing navigation, transportation, financial counseling, language classes, training pathways and other barrier-removal supports) and partners with regional employers, funders, and community agencies to deliver individualized solutions that keep people working and progressing in their careers.

In recent years The SOURCE has expanded its employer network and programming, reports multi-year growth in revenue and assets in its public Form 990 filings, and publishes annual/impact reports describing year-over-year client outcomes and employer partnerships.

Built and sustained an employer membership network serving multiple counties in West Michigan; the network model has served more than 1,000 people annually and expanded to dozens of employer partners, enabling coordinated supports across workplaces.
