HATZOLAH OF LOS ANGELES

Hatzolah of Los Angeles is a volunteer-run emergency medical service that provides rapid, culturally-sensitive basic life support and community medical training across neighborhoods in Los Angeles. The organization operates a 24/7 dispatch and response model serving Fairfax–La Brea, Pico–Robertson, Sherman Oaks, Valley Village, Encino–Tarzana and surrounding areas. Founded in 2001 and organized as a 501(c)(3), Hatzolah of LA reports a roster of volunteer responders and volunteer dispatchers and offers CPR and safety training, preparedness resources, and community-first medical interventions to stabilize patients until advanced public EMS resources arrive. In the past 2–3 years the organization has continued active community operations (public blog updates and coordinated local responses), received foundation grant support, and reported increased financial capacity consistent with expanded volunteer operations and equipment reserves.
