About AUTISM CENTER OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
Autism Center of Northern California (ACNC) is a donor-facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in San Francisco that provides multidisciplinary diagnostic, consultation, and family-training services for children, teens, young adults, and their families. Its clinical programs link assessment to individualized teaching and intervention strategies and emphasize continuity of care as families move from diagnosis through school years into adulthood. ACNC operates a Neurodevelopment Assessment Clinic (NDAC), the JumpStart parent-and-child coaching program, school and behavior consultation services, and a transition-focused LaunchPad program for older teens and young adults. The center is led by Dr. Bryna Siegel, whose clinical publications and screening tools have shaped practice and training in autism assessment and intervention.

Established multidisciplinary clinic model (NDAC)
Operates a Neurodevelopment Assessment Clinic that provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary diagnostic evaluations and ongoing follow-up care, designed so families can return for annual reassessments and program updates as children age out of early intervention.
JumpStart intensive parent–child coaching program
Delivers an intensive week-long, one-on-one coaching model (JumpStart) that trains parents and children in behavior, communication, social skills, play and psycho-educational strategies to support learning at home and school.
Research and field leadership by founder
Founder Dr. Bryna Siegel has authored multiple influential books and co-developed screening tools (including contributions to the PDDST-II) and has participated in DSM field trials—work that has informed diagnostic practice, clinician training, and evidence-based intervention approaches.
