About The "I Love U Guys" Foundation
The I Love U Guys Foundation is a U.S.-based nonprofit (501(c)(3), EIN 20-5653583) that develops and distributes free, research- and practice-informed school and community safety tools, including the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) and the Standard Reunification Method (SRM).
The Foundation focuses on training, exercises, and convenings for K–12 schools, first responders, emergency managers, families and communities to improve preparedness, coordinated response, and reunification after incidents.
Its programs are widely used (available at no cost), delivered through live and livestream training offerings, partner programs, and a recurring symposium called The Briefings.

Wide adoption of SRP and SRM
The Foundation reports its programs are used in tens of thousands of schools, districts, departments, agencies and communities worldwide and are distributed at no cost to end users.
Program updates and publications
The Foundation periodically updates its operational guidance (most recently the SRP Operational Guidance V4.2 / 2025) and publishes materials in accessible formats to keep content current and implementable.
Expanded hands-on exercises and partner offerings
In recent years the organization expanded SRM-REx reunification exercises and launched partner-focused offerings (e.g., T‑REx and SSAVEIM) to meet increased demand for coordinated reunification and violent-event incident management training.
