UNIQUE ZAN FOUNDATION

Unique Zan Foundation is a U.S.-based private foundation that makes grants and provides technical support to organizations working on women’s education, health, and community development in fragile and conflict-affected settings. The foundation partners with international and local NGOs and edtech providers to expand access to learning, psychosocial support, and small‑business support for women and displaced families.

The foundation is an IRS-recognized private foundation (established in 2007) that operates as a grantmaker rather than a direct-service implementer. In recent years it has focused on programs in the Middle East and South Asia (including partnerships supporting education through Abwaab and humanitarian and capacity-building work with partners such as PARSA and Children of War Foundation), and reports multi-year grantmaking and program activity, including measurable assistance to families, women and children in Gaza, the West Bank, Afghanistan and neighbouring countries.
